If you get that trinket you’ve been hoping for, but it’s Corrupted with a beneficial effect you don’t like, or wearing it would push you above a Corruption threshold you’re comfortable with, just purify the item and carry on. This isn’t a restriction, it’s a cost, which is perfectly reasonable.

Is versatility good for PVE Shadowlands?

I agree, versatility on non pvp cloth is pretty silly, but for pve tanks love versatility as a stat since well… with half the damage crit and haste do half as much for a tank unless you’re a self healer who likes haste or get some special parry or block buff.
