Why does BattlEye need my IP address?

Why it could be a big deal: Battleye is actively sending back dumps of entire files, linked with your IP address, to the master server where they are stored indefinitely. It can send any file that it has access to, and if you run Arma as administrator, that means basically everything.

Does BattlEye global ban?

The banning system is administrated by Battleye, we have absolutely no involvement in the process of detecting cheats/hacks nor administrating any bans etc. We would suggest you to contact Battleye directly. You are still able to play on non-battleye protected servers.

Can you appeal a BattlEye ban?

Make sure that you send your appeal by submitting a ban appeal ticket via our CONTACT page only, otherwise it won’t be processed. Note that sending the same appeal multiple times or to other addresses will not accelerate the reviewing process in any way.

Is BattlEye unbanned?

1. Everybody can actually appeal to BattlEye with a ban case (you can write to them directly). Also battleye unban people from time to time due to their false-positives, although it is really really rare.

Does BattlEye do Hwid bans?

Within 1 hour of gameplay, I got instantly banned by Battleye. So I thought it was a HWID ban, so I bought a new hard disk drive 1tb, and I did a clean install of Windows on it as I thought that would bypass it….
