The Great Plan was the Old Ones’ attempt to fight and destroy Chaos. They created the Lizardmen as their direct servants while they terraformed the planet and created other species to fight Chaos. They created the Elves, Dwarfs, Humans, Halflings, and Sky Titans, all of which were failures for various reasons.
