What is VERY important to remember though is that even in dim light (which means even if you have darkvision but are in the dark) perception checks have disadvantage if they’re vision based, and disadvantage on passive checks is -5, so now my Cleric’s passive perception is functionally only 10 because it’s dark and I can’t see as well.
