Aava highly telegraph’s her attacks, more than most bosses, it seems. A free attack on her is when she uses those homing crystals. Wait for that attack, run behind her for a good few free hits. Usually, on the homing crystals, Aava runs away, firmly plants all for feet and arches her back.
