Find a Kecleon store. Stand in front of the Kecleon and face it.
Eat the blinker seed. The screen would now be black except for you.
Attack Kecleon right in front of you. It has like 300+ HP in SMD, so you might need more than 1 blinker seed.
Congrats, you just defeated one of the hardest NPCs in the game. 🙂
