Part of the Rainbow Six: Siege G2 super team has announced his decision to leave the team and retire from competitive play. Niclas “Pengu” Mouritzen has detailed his decision to leave the G2 Esports organisation and the esport in general after playing for over five years. “It’s been FIVE years.
Why did pengu retire?
Pengu wants to retire to create more content for YouTube and Twitch, so we’ll still see plenty of him. He also announced that he won’t be stepping away from Rainbow Six Siege completely, as he still wants to create content around it, as well as attend Invitational events.

Why does Shaiiko only use holo?
Yea he has one of the lowest sensitivities out of all players. 4:3 aspect ratio, low FOV, and they stick their face less than a foot from the screen. They are virtually always using an acog, lol.
Why do pros use holo?
Probally because it’s easier to clear out rooms/obj with a holo instead of the acog zoom. Too add to this some pros keep engagements very close so Holo is easier. It is more about engagement distance.
What sight do pros use r6?
There is no “best sight” in Rainbow Six Siege. It all depends on your own playstyle and weapon you use. I run on almost every gun a holographic sight even on the attacker side. With a holo or reflex, you are more accurate as your weapon doesn’t spread as hard with an ACOG.
Why is ACOG good in R6?
More zoom: easier precise headshots. Downside is somewhat less situational awareness in CQB and it makes recoil harder to handle (not really an issue on pc but useful on console.
