What is the lifespan of a Pomsky?
As pomskies have been around for less than 10 years, experts can only estimate their average life expectancy. But based on both of their parent breeds, it’s generally expected that healthy pomskies should live anywhere from 13 to 15 years.
Why you shouldn’t get a Pomsky?
Just like their parents, Pomskies have a thick double layered coat. This coat will “blow out” twice a year and sheds year round. If you don’t keep up on their coat maintenance their hair can become matted and tangled. Expect large amounts of shedding in the spring and fall, and moderate shedding the rest of the year.
Are Pomskies easy to train?

Pomskies will often inherit the watchdog trait from their Pomeranian side, and the good-natured disposition of the Siberian Husky. Pomskies are also very intelligent, trainable, fiercely loyal, easy-going with most other dogs and humans, and a loving, cuddly breed. It’s pretty clear that they can make a great pet.
