Yeah, you can remove the poison puddle near the first bonfire, but the mist always remains. So farm up some Poison Moss from the Huntsman’s Copse from the poison butterflies/use the miracle from Licia. You could also just pop Lifegems like candy. A Torch will help you see in the tunnels.
