Oath Spells Once you gain access to an oath spell, you always have it prepared. Oath Spells don’t count against the number of Spells you can prepare each day.
How many times can you use oath spells?
The Paladin can cast 4 first level spells, and 2 second level spells before running out of slots, and cannot cast any spell that was not prepared.
Do oath spells take up spell slots?
Paladin oath spells are currently taking up prepared spell slots. Oath spells are supposed to be casted at will if I’m not mistaken. They do not count towards spells prepared.
Can you divine smite twice a turn?
TL;DR: other than “1 spell slot per attack” and “max 5d8 damage or 6d8 versus undead/fiends per use of divine smite” there are no limits. 1 divine smite per attack, but no limit per turn.
Can you divine smite with booming blade?
Yes. You can trigger both Sneak Attack and Divine Smite on a booming blade attack. Booming blade says: As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a melee attack with a weapon against one creature within the spell’s range.

AMF states: “A slot expended to cast a suppressed spell is consumed.” If Smite is a suppressed magical effect, it should stand to reason that the slot would be consumed the same as it would be for a wizard, sorcerer, bard, etc. By that definition, Mage Slayer doesn’t work when you’re in an anti-magic field.
How do you counter an Antimagic field?
Trap them in a Prismatic Wall Prismatic Wall is explicitly immune to Antimagic Field, and can be shaped to contain such an enemy. Since they’ve got an Antimagic Field up, they must drop it before they can cast any teleportation spells to escape this trap.
Can you smite and cast a spell?
You absolutely can. It’s a bonus action to cast the spell, and no other action to use divine smite, as you just need to hit a creature.
