Does OHKO Stone affect pH?
I have some ohko stone aka dragon stones, they don’t noticeable alter my PH. I have them in my CRS tank. Seriyu stones on the other hand…. I recently did some testing on lava rock, it does ever so slightly raise the PH, nothing too worry about though.
Does lava rock change pH?
The lava rock is red due to the iron in it. It has no calcuim so it will have no affect on your ph. I don’t believe it would be good with an Amazon fish tank setup. But, when Ammonia turns into nitrites & nitrates, the H’s are released, so the pH can drop.
