You just need to have killed Vendrick. The answers don’t matter, you just need to initiate a conversation each time you can. You need to kill Vendrick before Nashandra, and then Aldia will appear in the same boss arena. The fight starts after talking to him, so you can heal up real quick before you do.
Is aldia immortal?
Disgusted by his brother’s decisions, Vendrick condemned Aldia within his mansion for all eternity. Ultimately, Aldia discovered the nature of the undead curse was spread by a “yolk” of fate and ended up experimenting on himself to find true immortality. His research ultimately failed and cursed him into a monstrosity.
Can you kill vendrick after Nashandra?
You need to kill Vendrick before nashandra if you want the second ending also to be available to you. You answer yes to Aldia at Dragon Shrine when he jumps out of the bonfire for the third time. You can have both endings available to you at the end after you beat Vendrick, Nashandra and Aldia in that order.
Can you fight aldia after finishing the game?
Finally, after completing the dialogue in Dragon Shrine, Aldia will appear as a boss in the Throne of Want in Drangleic Castle after killing Nashandra, but only if Vendrick is killed before Nashandra. The game can be completed without fighting Aldia here, if Nashandra is killed before Vendrick is.

Weakness. Aldia doesn’t exactly have a weakness per se, but it does take more damage against Magic and Lightning. Aldia has substantial resistance to Dark and Fire. While Aldia is certainly tough, it is not the hardest boss in the game, especially when compared to the bosses in the Lost Crowns installments.
What happened to aldia?
Aldia disappeared. No one knows where he went or what he became. Some say he was destroyed by the Ancient Dragon he created, or became the dragon, but he was more likely drawn to Tseldora, with its giant crystals.
Does aldia drop a soul?
Though considered a boss, Aldia does not drop either souls or a Boss Soul when defeated.
