What can change destiny?
In simple terms, your destiny is decided by your karma. Every human has the power to change his destiny by changing his karma. Only we can create the future that we want. One has no power to control their karma but has all the power to change the karma.
Can Dua change destiny?
Don’t you know that Dua is an act of worship. Dua is the weapon of the believer and infact the only thing that can even change our Fate or Destiny. Allah doesn’t like People who do not make Dua.

No, because in His decree there was already this pre-plan that’s either the guy dies tomorrow or he dies after five years, depending on whether or not he prays. If he prays to me, I extend and so on. So, there can be some flexible aspects in the decree of God and in this way. He’s getting that which God decreed.

Yes, Allah said he’d answer his worshipers’ duas when they make it. However, this answer doesn’t have to be by granting them what they wished for. Allah knows everything, including the future of course. Yes, I and muslims I know and don’t know have made dua on many things, including marriage, and it was granted.
