Yes. All borderlands games are great and still worth buying. BL1 still holds up really well even in today’s time.

I would highly recommend you buy this game if you are into the Borderlands series. It is honestly worth your time and money because it is just a great game. I am always looking for a great game to play and when I find something like this, I am very pleased by everything about it.

Is BL3 worth playing?

BL3 for me was a hard decision. But overall, I would say yes. Although the story is utter garbage (in my opinion), the gunplay is by far the best in the series and there are enough legendaries to keep you entertained through the whole game. There are minor improvements and the game/gun play is really good.

Borderlands 2 is probably one of my favorite games of all time and is definitely worth the play to any newcomers. It has so much content that your brain will explode once you realize how much was put into the game. Borderlands 2 is definitely worth playing today and always in the future.

Do I need to play Borderlands 2 for 3?

Yes, you’ll be fine. While past characters like Lilith or Rhys will be making appearances, you don’t have to go back and play all the earlier games. Events that happened previously will be referenced, but this is a new plot, with new main characters, new villains, and a new storyline.

Should I farm before UVHM?

None. Your gear will become obsolete pretty rapidly, and relying on the Bee is a crutch in UVHM, unless you plan to farm for a new one every 3-5 levels. (In which case, you’d better hop onto DLC4 ASAP so that you can get to the point where you can farm treeants for it.)

Does DLC scale in UVHM?

They scale to your level when you fast travel to the starting location, but don’t scale up in TVHM – if you want max level, you have to avoid travelling to them until you’ve completed main story. They do, however, scale up with you in UVHM, which is really nice.
