The anime never mentions certain details about Hyakkimaru, like his age, height, or weight. However, studio MAPPA confirmed that he was 16 at the time the series took place. This came as a surprise to fans, most of whom assumed him to be at least 18.

Why doesn’t Hyakkimaru use his sword?
