I really feel that the Warlock’s Ritual of Summoning should be changed so that you don’t need other people to summon your friends… I mean, let’s be honest. There’s a portal to almost every major zone in the main cities now, Mage’s can create portals everywhere as well.

A willing creature seems pretty simple — it “wants” to have the effect. I like the idea of just letting players intentionally fail saves, even if it isn’t an “official” rule.

A creature being unconscious does not remove that requirement. Further, unconscious creatures are neither willing nor unwilling to do anything; they lack consciousness and lack the ability to make conscious decisions.
