What are the rules for Sorry board game?

Move a pawn ten spaces forward or one space backward. If none of a player’s pawns can move forward 10 spaces, then one pawn must move back one space. Move eleven spaces forward, or switch the places of one of the player’s own pawns and an opponent’s pawn.

How does the sorry card work?

SORRY! – This card allows your to take one pawn from your Start and place it on any space that is occupied by any opponent. This bumps that opponent’s pawn back to its Start. If there is no pawn on your Start or no opponent’s pawn on any space you can move to, you forfeit your move.

Do you need the exact number to go home in sorry?

To win Sorry, you need to get all of your pawns to the home space. You also need to draw the exact number of spaces between a pawn and your home space in order to get there. The number cannot be higher than the amount of spaces between your pawn and the HOME space.

How do you win sorry every time?

Use one and two always to get pawns out of start and into play. The more pawns are out, the more options you have. Keep also some low cards to get a pawn into your home easier. When you draw a Sorry card, you take one of your pawns from your Start and bump another player’s pawn back to their Start.

Can you pass yourself in sorry?

You may jump over your own or another player’s pawn if it is in your way, counting it as one space.
