Can you block a coup?

Thanks, They can’t. The only time a player who isn’t the target can block an action is when someone takes Foreign Aid which has no target so anyone is allowed to claim a Duke to block it. Any player may challenge any claimed role, but blocking Steal or Assassinate is only possible for the target of the action.

How does ambassador work in coup?

The ambassador can exchange their cards with cards from the court deck. It also is able to block stealing.
