Do you use jokers in the card game War?
The basis is a normal game of War, in which wars consist of three cards played face down followed by one face up. The deck includes two jokers, which are the highest cards. If the rank of your card matches the top card of an opponent’s face-up pile, then instead of playing it normally you can use it to steal that pile.
How do you win war the card game?
If the two cards played are of equal value, then there is a “war”. Both players place the next card of their pile face down (some variants have three face down cards) and then another card face-up. The owner of the higher face-up card wins the war and adds all the cards on the table to the bottom of their deck.

Can you throw a spade on the first hand?
The player to the dealer’s left plays first (“leads”). He may not lead with a spade unless his hand only includes spades. In fact, unless a player has no option, spades may never be led until the suit is “broken” (see below).
Does ace go after King?
In traditional ranking, the ace is the highest card, coming after the king. Interestingly though, when you open a new deck of cards, the ace is next to the two.
