Which is better Kanto or Johto?

The Kanto region has more points of interest that I care about and that are more memorable to me as far as the map goes. I like the overall games Johto are in more, GSC and HGSS, but Johto on its own isn’t a super exciting region. The lore of Johto is great, but the terrain isn’t super exciting to explore.
