It’s a high school idol show with drama and slice-of-life elements. It’s exactly what it says on the box, but it does it very well. Yes, the performances can be a little hard to watch at first but if you like slice-of-life and cute girls doing cute things than you should enjoy it.

Overall it’s a great anime that tackles actual relationship problems some people have, compare to girl mets guy and after no communication about their feelings they fall in love. Most anime don’t go over the insecurities of relationships but golden time does and executes it quite nicely.
