What happens if you catch Giratina in Pokemon platinum?
Sure it’s a long trip back, but at least you can come prepared. -Flee the match. Giratina IS a wild pokemon, and you are allowed to flee. Doing so advances the storyline, then later after beating the Elite 4 you can return via Turnback Cave to rematch him (a shorter version of the Distortion World, too).
Where do you find waterfall in Pokemon platinum?
Head up towards Route 223 and meet Jasmine (from Olivine City in Johto). She’ll give you Waterfall. The waterfall in Mt. Coronet leads to the orbs you need to encounter Dialga and Palkia. You cannot encounter them until you first encounter Cyrus and Giratina at the Spear Pillar, so just go through Mt. Coronet and finish up there.
Do You need A Poke Ball to catch Giratina?
Don’t use Poké Balls. That is a horrible idea, due to the fact Giratina’s catch rate is 3, and is hard to catch in a Poké Ball. Only use a Poké Ball if you want a big challenge (or bragging rights). This goes for Premier, Luxury, and other such Balls. Thanks!
What’s the best way to hit a Giratina?
– always hit Giratina (either use moves with multiple targets, or ignore the ground enemies with every other Pokemon except your tank), and only with super effective moves (Ice, Dragon, Dark, Ghost). It is resistant, but if you hit it with two or three moves each turn, it compensates for that.
