Simply stated, you die in the ride. You start off the ride going in through the front door and into the stretching room. The ghost host says some stuff and them comes to his line about how there’s no windows or door, you have to find a way out, then he shows you how he “got out”.
Can a 4 year old ride rise of the resistance?
The only restriction for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is that guests must meet the minimum height requirement of 40 inches in order to ride. This may be a good way for you to feel out if Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance would be suitable for your toddler.

In order to give as many Guests as possible the opportunity to join the Resistance, each Guest can enter the virtual queue no more than once per day. You’ll receive a notification via the My Disney Experience app if your group is called to return.

Not so fast. Just like everything else at Disney World, you’ll still have to wait. Once you get back to Galaxy’s Edge, you can head straight to Rise of the Resistance, where a cast member will scan your magic band and ticket confirming your boarding group number.

How do I get to Rise of the Resistance queue?
On the day of your park visit:
- Open the My Disney Experience app on your smart device at one of the distribution times (7 a.m. or 2 p.m.) and select “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue” on the home screen.
- You will then be able to view the current status and next steps for joining the virtual queue.
