Is blood bowl a good game?

Blood Bowl is frustratingly brilliant to play. It is a great game and relatively easy to pick up and learn, but even when you begin to master the game itself and really get under the skin of your chosen team you can still end up cursing and swearing when your dice roll goes badly.

How does Bloodbowl Guard work?

Guard Overview: Guard is one of the most selected skills in the game and that is due to its effect in the blocking game. The ability to assist a block by one of your team mates but cancelling out the assist for the other team, both makes your blocking more reliable as well as more effective.

How do you throw a teammate in Blood Bowl 2?

When using Throw Team-Mate, roll a D6 after he has finished moving, but before he throws his team-mate. On a 1, roll another D6. On another 1, the teammate is killed without any opportunity for recovery. If the team-mate had the ball it will scatter once from the their square.

How throw teammates work?

A player with this skill has the ability to throw a player from the same team instead of the ball! If the thrown player would land on another player, continue to scatter the thrown player until he ends up in an empty square or off the pitch (i.e. he cannot land on more than one player).

Does throw team mate count as a pass?

Throw Team-Mate (TTM) Declare the Pass Action. Note that you cannot Pass the ball and TTM in the same turn, and if you fail Bonehead/Really Stupid you lose your Pass Action.

How does break tackle work?

You first use Break Tackle to determine the roll you need to dodge based on the player’s strength. If you fail that roll, you use Dodge to reroll as usual. EDIT: Remember though that you can only use each skill once per turn, so Break Tackle would allow you to use the player’s strength only once.
