There is no mention of the charmed condition in the effects of the confusion spell, so immunity to the charmed condition does nothing regarding that spell.
Does haste negate slow?
Haste has a duration as does slow. When slow is cast on a hasted character it doesn’t cancel it completely it just negates the effects of the haste for the duration of the slow. So if a higher level mage cast the haste eventualy the slow would wear off leaving the hasted party once again hasted.

This spell assaults and twists creatures’ minds, spawning delusions and provoking uncontrolled Actions. Each creature in a 10-foot-radius Sphere centered on a point you choose within range must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw when you cast this spell or be affected by it.
Do you know if charm person failed?
Unless a spell has a perceptible effect, a creature might not know it was targeted by a spell at all. Charm Person is both a spell without a perceptible effect and one that “says otherwise” – specifically that a creature that failed the saving throw knows at the end.
Do you know if you’ve been charmed 5e?
No. With perception you may be able to tell if another party member has been charmed, or if you actually see the spell cast on someone else, but if you yourself have been charmed you don’t know it until after the effect wears off. The good news is that this is also true for NPCs.
What creatures are immune to charm 5e?
4x angels/celestials, 10x animated objects/golems, 16x undead, 5x fiend, 5x monstrosity, 5x plant/ooze. That’s how many creatures in the MM happen to have full immunity to Charm. So the only real contenders are animated constructs, and undead. Neither of which are something you’d really expect to be Charming anyway.
Does suggestion work in combat?
The wording is the key, though. The Suggestion spell has been used in combat probably an incalculable amount of times by various players the world over. It can totally work the way you suggest, though usually it’s up to the DM to sort out how the wording of the suggestion affects the outcome.
Does hold person count as a charm?
Hold Person is just limited paralysis, nothing like the rest of the spells on the list. Charm Person can make someone friendly towards you, but nothing else.
