How do you keep your Sim alive?

The Potion of Youth Reward is the easiest means of keeping a Sim youthful without cheating. The potion only gives one drink, but will reset the Sim back to the beginning of their current age group. Use it right before they age up for maximum value.

Do other Sims earn money?

Re: Do my Sims in other household make money when in the background? They will age unless aging is turned of. They do not go to work, earn money or spend money.

Can unplayed Sims get promoted?

No they do not. Without mods, all Sims you don’t play do is age.

Do Sims have unplayed?

Yes, the sims will die/become ghosts in unplayed households. They unfortunately do not have story progression, so they won’t get married / have children / etc without you doing it manually by playing them.

What happens if I Mark Sims as unplayed?

It means unplayed Sims can be culled, killed, aged, get different jobs you didn’t set etc. It’s best to protect those you care about and mark as played even if you never touch them again.

How do you get Sims from different households to meet?

You can go to manage households, click add new household, go to add sim from library, click play, and either move that sim into a lot or leave them homeless. They’ll be in that world and then just make them meet up.

Can you create two Sims?

When you create at least two Sims, you’ll be able to define the relationship between them, just click the button on the right side of voice selection. Depending on a situation and age, you can choose roommate, husband/wife (sex does not matter), brother/sister or father/mother.

How do you get another SIM in the same world?

You can add other sims just by clicking on an empty lot or house. You’ll get the option to go to create a sim, where you can make your friends. If you really do want everyone to live in the same house, you can then send your first sim to their house to meet them.

How do you make Sims friends?

The ability to be Best Friends is unlocked once you hit 80% with another Sim. You must ask the Sim if they want to be Best Friends, but they’ll usually accept if they like your Sim. As Sims gain standing with one another, more options open up when visiting in their home.
