It’s like Poison damage, just a type of damage. Normally, it’s just damage. The difference is if something is immune to that damage type, or resistant, or vulnerable. But sometimes, a particular attack will have another effect.

The particular effect I want to know is whether warforged is immune to negative level. You are immune to poison of any kind. You are immune to Hold spells of any kind. You are immune to Sleep spells (and spell-like effects that duplicate it).
