Sure, the Vulture is made for combat, and its more easy to make it a combat beast. But if you take your time, and spent enough credits on it, the ASP can be a helluva gunship aswell with 6 hardpoints. Its more expencive, but in the end, you can fight just as good as with the Vulture, AND you can do more with it..
