What cards do you take out in 2 man spades?

The rules are as in basic spades (above), but with the following differences: Cards: The game is played with a standard pack with two distinct jokers; the twos of clubs and hearts are removed from the pack leaving 52 cards. The two jokers are the highest trumps.

Can you lead with the queen of spades in hearts?

Hearts may not be led until a heart or the queen of spades has been discarded. The queen does not have to be discarded at the first opportunity. The queen can be led at any time.

Can you lead with a spade?

Spades cannot be led unless played previously or player to lead has nothing but Spades in his hand.

Do sandbags count as points in spades?

Each player’s or team’s trick count is then compared to their contract. If a player/team took more tricks than they bid, a single point is scored for each overtrick, called an “overtrick”, “bag” or “sandbag” (a bid of 5 tricks with 6 tricks taken results in a score of 51 points).
