Does FreeSync matter at 144hz?

You can get tearing if your framerate is lower than your display’s refresh rate. So basically, tearing is more likely on a 144Hz monitor, since you’re less likely to hit 144Hz than 60Hz. Also, Freesync doesn’t work with Nvidia GPUs, so don’t bother getting a Freesync monitor if you (will) have the 1070.
