Play Gears Ultimate Edition a remaster of the first game, then gears 2, then 3, then 4 and just pretend Judgement doesn’t exist, it’s better that way. I would at least try to play the first one in Ultimate Edition. But 4 really is set up to be a reboot. You can jump in there.
