Do instants count as enchantments?

MTG Salvation Tribal only allows them to have creature types, on them but doesn’t make them a creature spell for anything so you can cast them because they are knight cards but won’t help your vine. No they are instants / sorceries / enchantments with a creature type but importantly they are not creatures.
