Years ago, a powerful earthquake struck the Sunshine Islands. In Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands, it’s up to the player to raise the sunken islands by finding the magical Sun Stones. Players rejoin all of the beloved characters from Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, and get to meet a number of new friends as well.
How do you upgrade tools in Harvest Moon Sunshine Island?
To attach a stone to your tool, talk to Charlie when he is in Chen’s shop and ask him about your tools. You can then select the tool to upgrade and then the stone(s) you want to attach. The basic tools you start with (hammer, axe, hoe, sickle, and watering can) are only able to have 1 Wonderful Stone attached.

- Own 5 or more adult chickens and receive the Sun Stone from Mirabelle.

How do you harvest in Harvest Moon?
Make sure the field is clear of branches, stones, and weeds beforehand by using an axe, hammer, and sickle as needed, or by hiring Harvest Sprites to clear away debris. Then, stand in the middle square and scatter the seeds. Otherwise, the seeds will fall onto untilled soil and will not grow.

Growing Plants To plant seeds, clear out and till a 3×3 area of farmland. Stand in the middle square and scatter one bag of seeds. Seeds scattered on untilled land disappear. Water the seeds everyday so they grow and produce crops.
