I was very excited to get these at Dollar Tree. However, I thought to myself, "it seems too good to be true". So, I ask the store employee if the Pokémon cards are real and he said "yes, they're real". I've been study a lot on how to find a counterfeit Pokémon cards and turns out they're 100% real.

A quick way to test if your Pokémon card is real or fake is to take a close look at the edge of it. Real Pokémon cards have a very thin sheet of black between the cardboard. It's very thin, but up close it is easy to see the darkness between the two thin halves of the card. Fake cards do not have this.

agreed, online cards are roughly 1/20 – 1/10 their real-world value. if you have very valuable cards, or a large quantity of them, you could make some money. Once there you'll be able to "ctrl+F" and enter whatever card you're curious about and it'll give you the value of that card in packs.
