How do you get Vay HEK?
Acquisition
- The Vaykor Hek can be acquired by reaching the Rank of General with Steel Meridian, and spending.
- Syndicate weapons can also be acquired via Trading, but only for unranked copies without Forma and Orokin Catalyst installed.
Is the Vaykor HEK still good?
Vaykor Hek is great on it’s own, hitting hard enough to drop sortie tier enemies in one shot (as long as it’s not increased armor or something). The syndicate proc is just icing on the cake. It is definitely worth it.
Whats better HEK or Vaykor HEK?
Vaykor is better (IIRC) with the Primed crit mods. It is. Vaykor Hek is better in the end with maxed mods but the Hek is available much earlier and is one of the strongest shotguns (excluding Riven usage). I’d only use the 60/60 elementals if you don’t plan on formaing your Hek any further.
Is Vaykor HEK good?
Vaykor hek was already good and it got a massive indirect buff with the addition of hunter munitions. Definitely a gun worth your time, best built for crit, and Raw damage over status. It’s a great weapon and I usually use it over my Tigris Prime. The syndicate proc is really nice for the cc and the heal.
